Before the invention of refrigerators, pie safes were common furniture items in Amish homes. They were most often kept in a cool room and the shelves were seldom empty.  This exquisite design with its careful tin work is copied from an original pie safe owned by our Company. Tin is on our front panels only.  Solid wood construction with adjustable shelves.
